Multiple Bouts Confirmed for UFC Fall Schedule

By FCF Staff

The Ultimate Fighting Championship continues to fill out the line-ups for its fall schedule, as the promotion has announced several more match-ups that will take place over the coming weeks.

After announcing that decorated veteran BJ Penn will face Carlos Condit at UFC 137 on October 29th, the promotion also confirmed this weekend that lightweight Sam Stout (17-6-1) will meet Dennis Siver (19-7) and that light-heavyweight Brandon Vera (11-5) will battle Eliot Marshall (10-3) on the card.

UFC 137 will be hosted by the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The promotion also has begun unveiling the line-up for the next UFC Live on Versus 6 event, which has yet to have a venue or date announced. The UFC has confirmed two bouts for the card, as Mac Danzig (20-8-1) will fight Matt Wiman (13-6) and welterweight Anthony Johnson (9-3) will take on Charlie Brenneman (14-2) (pictured).

In addition, the UFC announced via its official Twitter account that middleweight prospect Chris Weidman (6-0) will take on Tom Lawlor (7-3) at UFC 138. The card is expected to take place November 19th in San Jose, however, no venue or date has been confirmed for the event yet.

The promotion also ‘tweeted’ that lightweight prospect Evan Dunham (11-2) has verbally agreed to meet TUF vet Shamar Bailey (12-3). The fight will take place at  the September 17th UFC Fight Night card in New Orleans.

The card will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Jake Ellenberger and former Strikeforce champ Jake Shields.
