Two suspects have been arrested and one has been charged with murder, following the death of former UFC competitor Ryan Jimmo last weekend.

The 34 year-old fighter was killed early Sunday morning, after he was reportedly struck by a truck in the parking lot of an Edmonton bar. According to a recent report from the CBC, the 23 year-old Anthony Getschel has been charged with second-degree murder, criminal negligence causing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving death.

The 21 year-old Jordan Wagner has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

Police have been informed that a “brief verbal argument” occurred in the bar’s parking lot, before the alleged incident occurred.
