The World Series of Fighting debuted in Las Vegas last weekend, and according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, 1,499 tickets were sold for the event and  $82, 608 was generated at the gate.

4,076 tickets were given away for the event, which featured Andrei Arlovski stopping Devin Cole in the main event.   The card was hosted by the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

WSOF 1 was also broadcast on the NBC Sports Network and reportedly carried an average of 198,000 viewers.

The promotion’s first card also saw Anthony Johnson knockout DJ Linderman and Marlon Moraes work his way to a split decision win over Miguel Torres.

The promotion is expected to hold another event in early 2013; however, it remains to be seen whether NBC elects to broadcast the second WSOF card.
