Pablo Garza will no longer be fighting in the UFC featherweight division.

Garza (12-4) made the announcement via Twitter, stating that fighting in the future will still remain an option.

Garza is 1-3 in his last four fights, he was coming off of two straight defeats to Dustin Poirier and Dennis Bermudez before taking a decision win over Mark Hominick at UFC 154. Since then the 29-year-old was submitted by Diego Brandao at UFC on Fuel TV 9, marking his final contracted fight.

The UFC has been actively thinning its roster over the past few months. Garza marks the second featherweight cut, as Antonio Carvalho announced his release today as well.
