Paul Daley Headlining Ringside 12 Versus Luigi Fioravanti
By FCF Staff
Paul Daley’s fall schedule continues to get busier, as just hours after the British Association of Mixed-Martial-Arts confirmed that the vet will fight Jordan Radev on September 10th, Ringside MMA has announced that the British fighter will compete on its October 21st card.
A poster for Ringside’s upcoming 12th card, which was posted on the Twitter account of the promotion’s president Erich Champoux, reports that Daley will take on fellow UFC vet Luigi Fioravanti.
Fioravanti (22-10) is coming off back-to-back losses to Andrei Semenov and most recently Joe Doerksen, while competing on a Score Fighting Series event in June. Prior to the defeats the American Top Team fighter had won five straight fights.
Daley (27-11-2) has also lost two straight, as the noted striker was stopped by former Strikeforce welterweight champ Nick Diaz in April, before losing by unanimous decision to Tyron Woodley on July 30th. Daley had won four fights in a row prior to the losses, which included wins over Scott Smith and Jorge Masvidal.
The upcoming October 21st Ringside event will be hosted by Montreal’s Bell Centre, and will also feature Mike Ricci vs. Kurt Southern, Matt MacGrath vs. Alex Garcia and Stephane Pelletier vs. Michel Gagnon.
