Rafael dos Anjos Hoping to Face Robbie Lawler, Nick Diaz Next

After deciding to leave the lightweight division to compete at 170, Rafael dos Anjos is interested in facing two of the welterweight division’s biggest names next.
Following his decision loss to Tony Ferguson in December, the former lightweight champ announced he’s going to compete at welterweight, but RDA’s next bout has yet to be announced. Recently dos Anjos spoke with MMA Junkie, and while discussing who he’d like to face next, the Brazilian stated this:
“I think Robbie Lawler is a good name and a fight that interests me,” dos Anjos said. “Nick Diaz. I think I can beat these guys for sure. Those are some of the names on my mind right now.”
“Welterweight is a different division, but I’m not fighting light at welterweight,” dos Anjos added. “Everything I want to do in my life, I want to be at the top. Now I’m at welterweight, and I want to fight the best guys.”
Prior to facing Ferguson, dos Anjos lost the 155 title to Eddie Alvarez in July, 2016. The 32 year-old is 7-3 in his last 10 fights.
