Following its rating success from Bellator 106, SPIKE has announced that the recent Bellator debut of former UFC champ “Rampage” Jackson also drew big numbers for the network.

According to figures that SPIKE has released on Tuesday, Jackson’s November 15th bout with fellow UFC vet Joey Beltran drew 1.1 million viewers. The Bellator 108 card peaked with 1.2 million viewers, and averaged 793,000 people for the entire broadcast.

Jackson ended up stopping Beltran with a flurry of punches late in round one. The victory ended the 35 year-old light-heavyweight’s three fight losing streak.

Bellator 108 also featured Vitaly Minakov stopping Alexander Volkov to become heavyweight champion, and Patricio “Pitbull” taking out Justin Wilcox to win the latest featherweight tournament.

Bellator’s highly anticipated “Chandler vs. Alvarez II” card on November 2nd peaked with 1.4 million viewers, and averaged 1.1 million people. That card saw Alvarez avenge his previous loss to Chandler by earning a split decision victory over the former lightweight champ.
