Raphael Assuncao Announces New Deal With UFC

UFC veteran Raphael Assuncao is currently riding a three fight win streak, and the 30 year-old vet has reportedly been awarded for his efforts by the promotion. According to a tweet from Assuncao, the fighter has signed a new, four fight deal with the UFC.
The Brazilian fighter posted on his Twitter account:
New UFC ,4 fight deal contract under way can’t wait to fight again! Got some news” coming up shortly!
Assuncao (19-4) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Mike Easton at UFC on FOX 5 in December, after scoring wins over Johnny Eduardo and Issei Tamura.
The only man to defeat Assuncao in his last five fights is Erik Koch, who knocked him out at UFC 128 in March, 2011.
