Following his victory over Bobby Green at UFC on FOX 24 last weekend, Rashid Magomedov is reporting he’s entering free agency.

The talented striker outscored Green on Saturday and received a split decision win. The bout moved Magomedov’s UFC record to 5-1, and the lightweight’s overall record to 20-2.

After the bout, the 32 year-old revealed that he’s concluded his current UFC deal, while discussing when he’d like to fight next (quote via MMA Junkie.com)

“If they offer me (a new deal), I will take maybe (an) October or November (fight),” Magomedov said. “They haven’t said anything, but I have my manager, who will talk with them and discuss negotiations. I’m still waiting.”

The only fighter who has defeated Magomedov under the UFC banner is lightweight contender, Beneil Dariush.
