Two of Brazil’s more accomplished heavyweight fighters will reportedly coach opposite one another in the latest season of “The Ultimate Fighter Brasil,” as according to a report from Globo Esporte, Antonio “Minotauro” Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum have agreed to participate in the show.

The report, which cites “reliable sources”, furthers that Nogueira and Werdum will fight after the conclusion of the program.  TUF Brasil 2 is set to debut in March, 2013, and will feature competitors from the welterweight division.

The UFC has not made any official announcement regarding the upcoming season’s coaches.

The 36 year-old Nogueira (34-7) is coming off a second round, armbar submission win over Dave Herman at UFC 153 earlier this month. The bout was the former UFC interim and PRIDE champion’s first bout since December, when he had his arm broken in a submission loss to Frank Mir.

Werdum has gone 2-0 since arriving in the UFC, as he stopped Mike Russow in round two at UFC 147 in June, and worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Roy Nelson at UFC 143 in February.

Nogueira scored a unanimous decision win over Werdum at a PRIDE event in July, 2006.
