Report: 1.8 Million People Watched UFC 148 Prelims

The preliminary bouts for the highly anticipated UFC 148 card last weekend in Las Vegas, resulted in FX’s best MMA ratings to date.

According to a press release from the FOX owned channel, 1.8 million people tuned in to watch the broadcast, making it the second most watched prelim broadcast in UFC history. The most watched prelims to date happened at UFC 126.

FX is reporting the following ratings: Adults 18-34 (749,000), Men 18-34 (500,000) and in women demographics: 18-49 (403,000), 18-34 (249,000) and 25-54 (375,000).

FX’s next UFC broadcast will be the UFC 149 prelims on Saturday, July 21st, begining at 5-7pm PT / 8-10pm ET.

UFC 148 featured a rematch between UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen in the main event. Silva stopped the challenger in the second round.
