Report: Bellator Reality Show Coming to Spike TV

Spike TV continues to add Bellator Fighting Championships content to its 2013 schedule, as today the two companies have announced that a reality television show about the MMA promotion will debut on the network next year.

Although no specific details about the program have been announced, according to multiple reports the show will be overseen by award winning producer Bertrand van Munster, who was the driving force behind the hit show “The Amazing Race.”

After Spike’s parent company Viacom announced that it had acquired a controlling interest in Bellator, it was announced that the promotion’s events would begin airing on the TV channel next year.

Currently Bellator’s preliminary cards are streamed live on Spike.com and the main card’s are broadcast on MTV 2, another Viacom property.

Recently Bellator also announced that it will be releasing a video game for the promotion this summer.
