Signs continue to point to the fact that Nick Diaz maybe returning to action soon, as after reportedly relaying to Dana White he wants to fight again, comes word that the UFC has sent Diaz an offer.

Diaz’s manager and trainer Cesar Gracie recently told BJ Penn.com Radio that:

As far as his fighting and everything. He’s been in Vegas, he just got back a couple of days ago. There is an offer on the table, that’s all I can say. It’s something everyone is looking at right now and discussing with him. Dana has offered him a fight. There is an offer on the table, I can’t say who it is, but it’s kind of neat I think. But no decision’s have been made for sure.”

After Diaz (26-9) lost by unanimous decision to Georges St. Pierre at UFC 158 in March, the renowned fighter said he was likely done fighting, unless a rematch with GSP or a fight with Anderson Silva was offered.

The defeat followed a UD loss to Carlos Condit last February, which also prompted Diaz to exit from the sport, until his fight with St. Pierre was signed.

Currently the only men in the UFC’s top ten welterweight rankings who aren’t booked for a bout include Demian Maia, Tarec Saffiedine and Josh Koscheck. The latter two, however, recently pulled out of scheduled fights due to injuries.
