Cris “Cyborg” Justino has reportedly signed a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but before the renowned fighter throws down in the Octagon, she’ll have to fight at bantamweight first.

There has been widespread talk about the possibility of Justino fighting for the UFC for months now, and in particular, a bout with bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey.

On the latest episode of “UFC Tonight”, it was reported Dana White has confirmed that the promotion has reached a deal with Justino. But, before “Cyborg” fights for the UFC, she will have to compete at 135 with Invicta FC.

Justino (13-1) is booked to fight at Invicta FC 13 in July, but it’s believed she will be defending the promotion’s featherweight title, against an opponent to be determined. So, the Brazilian star likely won’t attempt the drop to 135 until later this year.

“Cyborg” is coming off a quick, first round stoppage win over Charmaine Tweet in February.
