A bout between UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey and Cris “Cyborg” Justino has the potential to be massive, and the latter will reportedly take a big step towards the fight in December.

“Cyborg” will make her Invicta FC bantamweight debut that month according to a report from MMA Junkie.  The story cites the promotion’s president Shannon Knapp as the source.

Justino’s move to 135 is expected to take place at Invicta FC 10, however, an exact date for the card has yet to be determined. The 29 year-old’s opponent is also not set.

Justino (12-1) won Invicta FC’s featherweight title last July by stopping Marloes Coenen. The promotion hasn’t decided yet whether “Cyborg” will be forced to vacate the 145 title.

There has been widespread discussion about a possible bout between Rousey and “Cyborg” for some time now; however, the weight class for the fight was a point of contention.

Most recently, “Cyborg” was decisioned by Jorina Baars in March, while competing for the kickboxing promotion Lion Fight.
