After it was revealed that four fighters had tested positive for banned substances following Bellator 127 on October 3rd, the California State Athletic Commission has handed out several suspensions.

Robert Emerson, who tested positive for Modafinil, which is a type of medication that can also be used as a stimulant, has been suspended for 270 days and fined $2,500. The CSAC confirmed the fighter’s punishment, as well as the other three disciplinary actions with MMA Junkie.com.

Keith Berry, who tested positive for an elevated testosterone-to-epitestosterone (T/E) ratio, has been suspended for 300 days and fined $2,500. Since Berry was victorious at Bellator 127, his decision win over Joe Pacheco has been overturned to a no-contest.

Nick Moghaddam has also been suspended for 300 days and fined $1,000, after testing for an elevated T/E ratio as well.

Fernando Gonzalez has been suspended for 30 days and fined $315 for testing positive for marijuana. The fighter’s stoppage win over Karo Parisyan, however, will not be overturned.
