Despite reports yesterday that former UFC heavyweight champ Tim Sylvia had signed with Strikeforce and was scheduled to fight Daniel Cormier on September 29th, once again, UFC President Dana White says it isn’t happening.

White as reportedly shot down the reports on The Underground, by posting “long story, but yes, Tim is not with Zuffa.”

The comments are in keeping with White’s denials earlier in the week when there was speculation that Sylvia was headed back to the Zuffa fold.

Sylvia, who has been campaigning for another shot in the UFC for some time now, is currently riding a three fight win streak.

The 36 year-old Sylvia (31-7) hasn’t competed for the UFC since February, 2008, when he was submitted by Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
