By FCF Staff

After getting knocked out by Dustin Poirier at UFC 168 in December, former TUF winner Diego Brandao has reportedly been booked to fight Will Chope next.

The featherweight fight will take place at the upcoming, March 23rd Fight Night card in Natal, Brazil, which will feature Dan Henderson taking on “Shogun” Rua in the main event.

UFC officials have yet to announce the Brandao-Chope fight, which is being reported by MMA Junkie and MMA Fighting.

Prior to facing Poirier, Brandao (18-9) had scored wins over Joey Gambino, Pablo Garza and Daniel Pineda. The former TUF winner has gone 4-2 to date in the Octagon.

Chope (19-6) is coming off a stoppage loss to Max Holloway at UFC FN 34 last month, which marked his promotional debut. The featherweight had won 14 straight bouts prior to the loss.

UFC FN 38 will be hosted by the Ginasio Nelio Dias in Natal.
