Everyone was expecting fireworks between Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen during the latest season of “The Ultimate Fighter” Brazil, and according to Dana White, the longtime rivals have already fought. The show is currently being filmed in the South American nation and the two are coaching opposite one another.

The UFC President made the revelation during a media luncheon on Monday. In a report from MMA Fighting, White was quoted saying:

“Wanderlei and Chael fought,” White said. “Just today. They literally fought.”

“While they were fighting one of Wanderlei’s guys sucker punched Chael,” White added. “They went crazy, crazy s— happened there. We’re dealing with that right now too. … They literally fought today, it went on for awhile.”

Sonnen and Silva, who have quarrelled through the media for sometime now, will battle in a sanctioned UFC event after the season airs.
