The MMA world is reeling today, as according to multiple reports, Leandro “Feijao” Caetano de Souza died yesterday in Brazil while cutting weight for a Shooto Brazil 43 bout in Rio de Janeiro. The Nova Uniao flyweight was just 26 years old. As a result of the tragedy the card has been cancelled.
Shooto Brazil President Andre Pederneiras, who is also the head coach of Nova Uniao, posted the following comment on his Facebook page (via Google Translate).
