Not long after news has surfaced that PRIDE vet Tatsuya Kawajiri has reportedly signed with the UFC, it’s being reported that his Japanese countryman Katsunori Kikuno is also headed to the Octagon.

According to a report from MMA Junkie.com, Kikuno has signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC; however, the fighter’s debut has not been confirmed. The UFC has not made any official announcement regarding the reported deal.

The 31 year-old Kikuno (21-5-2) is currently riding a five fight win streak, which includes three first round, knockout victories. The Judo and Kyokushin Karate black belt has competed for organizations like DREAM and DEEP throughout his career, and is 8-2 in his last ten contests.

The reported signings come at a time when the UFC plans to expand it’s operations in Asia over the coming year and beyond.
