Although there’s been considerable talk about Gina Carano’s MMA return, and UFC President Dana White has said the promotion is close to signing the star, it looks like the actress won’t be fighting anytime soon.

Carano is reportedly booked to appear in two more films that are being produced before the year is up.

According to a report from MMA Fighting.com, Carano’s agent has confirmed she will star in the upcoming film “Bus 657”, and will also appear in another move that’s being filmed in December.

White has said that Carano could be granted an immediate title shot with bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey, despite the fact the actress hasn’t fought since 2009 (when she was stopped by Cris “Cyborg” at a Strikeforce event).

If and when a Rousey-Carano fight materializes, it has the potential to be one of the promotion’s biggest fights in recent history.
