It looks as though UFC Fight Night 61 has lost its original main event, as Glover Teixeira has reportedly pulled out of his fight with Rashad Evans, due to a knee injury.

As a result, a heavyweight bout between Frank Mir and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva has been moved from UFC 184 on February 28th, to the February 22nd, UFC FN card.

News of Teixeira’s injury, and the date change for Mir-Silva, is being reported by MMA Fighting.com. The report cites UFC President Dana White as the source.

The UFC has not made any official announcement regarding the change, or what it has planned for Evans.

UFC FN 61 will take place in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
