According to multiple reports, the Ultimate Fighting Championship is planning to clear up its welterweight title picture in a big way on November 17th, in Montreal, Quebec.

UFC President Dana White reportedly relayed Friday that the promotion is hoping to have champion Georges St. Pierre fight interim champ Carlos Condit, and Martin Kampmann battle fellow contender Johny Hendricks at the event.

White made the announcement following Friday’s UFC on FX 3 card in Florida.

St. Pierre will hope to make his return from knee surgery at the UFC 154 event, which will be hosted by Montreal’s Bell Centre. The welterweight champion has not fought since April, 2011, when St. Pierre (22-2) scored a unanimous decision win over Jake Shields.

Due to GSP’s injury, Condit (28-5) battled Nick Diaz in February for the promotion’s interim title and emerged with the UD victory.

Kampmann and Hendricks, on the other hand, continue to battle for title shots.

Hendricks (13-1) is coming off a split decision win over Josh Koscheck last month to further his position as a top contender, while Kampmann (20-5) stopped Jake Ellenberger earlier this month to insert himself into the title shot mix.
