Although details are limited at this juncture, according to reports, a media call is planned for Wednesday, which will include an “industry re-defining” announcement.

The call will reportedly include former Bellator exec Bjorn Rebney, Georges St-Pierre, TJ Dillashaw, Cain Velasquez, Tim Kennedy and Donald Cerrone. The call is being reported by outlets like MMA Fighting and MMA Junkie.

What is interesting is that St-Pierre, Kennedy, Velasquez and Dillashaw are all clients of the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which is a competitor for the talent agency WME-IMG, the UFC’s new ownership group.

The call is scheduled for 4 PM/ET – 1 PM/PT.
