It appears as though Melvin Guillard isn’t the only fighter who has been released by the UFC on Friday, as according to a new report, Ivan Menjivar has also been cut by the promotion.

Menjivar was recently handed a unanimous decision loss by Hatsu Hioki in January, which was the veteran fighter’s third consecutive defeat, and his fourth in five fights.

According to a report by MMA Fighting.com, the 31 year-old’s manager, Mitch Mayberger, has informed the outlet that the UFC has let the former bantamweight go.

Prior to facing Hioki, Menjivar dropped bouts to Wilson Reis and Urijah Faber, after tapping out Azamat Gashimov in 2012. After returning to the UFC in 2011, Menjivar proceeded to win three straight fights, before losing by UD to Mike Easton at UFC 148.

Mayberger also relayed in the story that he will be assessing offers for Menjivar’s services from other promotions.
