Report: Jason “Mayhem” Miller Released From UFC

By FCF Staff

Following his unanimous decision to CB Dollaway at UFC 146 last night, which comes after a one sided, stoppage defeat to Michael Bisping in December, Jason “Mayhem” Miller has reportedly been released by the UFC.

According to multiple reports, UFC President Dana White relayed that there had been “an incident” involving Miller after the event, but would not offer any details. White apparently added that Miller, who has gone 0-3 in the UFC to date, would have been cut from the promotion regardless.

The 31 year-old Miller made his way back to the UFC last year, following victories over Tim Stout and Kazushi Sakuraba.

The charismatic fighter, and host of MTV’s “Bully Beatdown”, coached opposite of Bisping on the fourteenth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” prior to facing the British middleweight.

He is a favorite of mine, but has shown NOTHING in the UFC. I would have released him also. I just don’t get guys who are soooo good on the ground that want to stand and bang. Get the win! And getting laid on while just shrugging doesn’t do anything to help either. If he wants to act, he needs to go into acting.
