Joe Lauzon has gone on record saying he would like to fight at the upcoming, UFC on FOX Sports 1 card in Boston, and according a report, the vet has agreed to fight Michael Johnson at the event.

MMA Weekly.com is reporting that Lauzon and Johnson will meet at the August 17th card, which will be broadcast live on the FOX Sports 1 network. The UFC has not made any announcement regarding the fight.

Lauzon (22-8) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Jim Miller at UFC 155 in December, after submitting Jamie Varner with a third round, triangle-choke at UFC on FOX 4 last August.

Johnson (12-8) is looking to end a two fight losing streak, as the former TUF finalist dropped a unanimous decision loss to Myles Jury in December, before getting tapped out by Reza Madadi at the last UFC on FUEL card in April.

The UFC on FOX Sports 1 card will be hosted by Boston’s TD Garden Arena.
