A second sample from Jon Jones has also tested positive for the anabolic steroid Turinabol, according to reports.

Jones was recently notified of a potential doping violation, tied to his stoppage win over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 in July. After the flag was announced, his management team confirmed that a sample taken from Jones had tested positive for Turinabol. Now USADA has confirmed to ESPN that Jones’ B sample has also tested positive for the anabolic steroid.

Since the USADA flag was reported, Jones’ agent has denied that the light-heavyweight champ knowingly took PEDs, and has pointed to other drug tests the fighter passed.

Jones recently completed a one year suspension he received, after he tested positive for banned substances in July, 2016. Jones and his team claimed that a sexual performance enhancement pill he took was responsible for the positive test, and the pill did test positive for the banned substances.

It was ruled, however, that Jones acted recklessly in taking the pill, and he was suspended for one year.
