UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been fined $1,000, and has had his driver’s license suspended for six months today, as a result of the guilty plea he entered in May for a DWI charge. The 24 year-old-fighter’s sentencing took place Tuesday in a Binghamton courtroom.

Jones is also required to install ignition interlocks on all is vehicles and will have to complete a victim impact panel according to a report from Press Connects.com.

The sentence stems from a May 19th incident when Jones crashed his 2012 Bentley into a utility pole. No one was seriously injured in the accident.

Jones is scheduled to fight Dan Henderson on September 1st at UFC 151.
