Jon Jones has said he never knowingly took performance enhancing drugs, after he tested positive for an anabolic steroid last summer, and the fighter has reportedly passed a polygraph test regarding that claim.

Following Jones’ stoppage win over Daniel Cormier last July at UFC 214, it was announced the star had tested positive for Turinabol. Jones was stripped of the light-heavyweight title and the result was overturned to a no-contest.

The 30 year-old Jones has denied that he ever, knowingly took the substance. According to a report from MMA Fighting, UFC sources have confirmed that that Jones passed a polygraph test, whereby he was asked if he knowingly took any type of PED.

Jones also tested positive for PEDs in 2016, but the fighter and his camp were able to demonstrate that a sexual enhancement performance pill he took, was contaminated with the substances. Jones was still suspended for one year, however, for negligence.
