Following his arrest in Binghamton, New York, on May 19th, Jon Jones has reportedly pleaded guilty today to a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated,  and has had his driver’s license temporarily suspended.

According to a report from WBNG.com, due to the UFC light-heavyweight champ’s guilty plea, two additional violations of making an improper turn and deviating from a direct course were dismissed.

Jones was charged earlier in the month after he allegedly crashed his car into a lightpole.

The 24 year-old Jones will return to court on June 19th for sentencing. The decorated fighter will also undergo an alcohol abuse and dependency assessment before sentencing.

Jones could face a $1,000 fine and up to a year in jail, however, according to he WBGN report his attorney informed the judge that the fighter’s plea agreement calls for a fine and a conditional discharge.

The Jackson’s MMA fighter is scheduled to fight former Pride and Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson on September 1st at UFC 151.

Jones competed last on April 21st, at UFC 145 and worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Rashad Evans.
