The Nevada Commission is holding a hearing today to determine if Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones should be disciplined for their now infamous brawl, and the latter says the incident has already cost him big time.

Jones is appearing in front of the commission today, to answer questions about the brawl he had with Cormier at an August press conference.

According to a report from MMA Junkie.com, during the hearing the UFC light-heavyweight champ relayed that the incident cost him his sponsorship deal with Nike. The fighter’s attorney, Ofir Ventura, said that the deal was valued at “over six figures” annually.

The latter also reportedly claimed that the brawl prompted another company to end negotiations with Jones about a sponsorship deal.

The 27 year-old champion also apologized for his involvement in the brawl, which quickly made headlines.

Jones and Cormier, who are facing possible fines and suspensions as a result of the incident, are currently scheduled to fight on January 3rd.

(Update: according to a report from MMA Junkie, Jones has been fined $50,000 and will be required to do 40 hours of community service as a punishment for the incident)
