Report: Jose Aldo Withdrawing From UFC 176

One month out from when Jose Aldo was set to defend the featherweight title at UFC 176, comes word that the champ has been forced to withdraw from his rematch with Chad Mendes.
News of Aldo’s withdrawal was reported on the latest edition of “UFC Tonight”, which cited UFC President Dana White as a source.
No specific information regarding Aldo’s injury has been disclosed, and there is no word on who might replace the renowned fighter.
The bout was set to headline UFC 176, which will go down at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
In their first meeting, back at UFC 142 in January, 2012, Aldo KO’d Mendes in the opening round.
