After losing his opportunity to fight WSOF bantamweight champ Marlon Moraes due to injury, Josh Hill has reportedly been booked to fight Sheymon Moraes for the promotion’s #1 contender spot.

Hill was scheduled to fight Moraes at WSOF 13 last month, but the Canadian incurred an injury and had to drop out. According to a report from MMA Fighting.com, WSOF vice president Ali Abdel-Aziz has confirmed that Hill will fight Morares on December 13th, and the bout will determine who will challenge for the bantamweight title next.

The undefeated Hill (10-0) made his WSOF Canada debut in June, and knocked out Mike Adams in the first round.

Moraes (6-0) is coming off a KO win over Felipe Alves in April, and will be making his WSOF debut. The Brazilian fighter and Team Nogueira member began fighting professionally in 2012.

The location for WSOF 16 has yet to be determined, but it will feature a welterweight fight between champion Rousimar Palhares and Jon Fitch.
