Report: Josh Koscheck-Neil Magny Fight in the Works

Koscheck

By FCF Staff

After going through 2014 without competing in a fight, it looks as though Josh Koscheck could be returning to the UFC next February.

The former welterweight contender hasn’t fought now since December, 2013, when he was knocked out by Tyron Woodley. The defeat was Koscheck’s third straight, as he was coming off losses to Robbie Lawler and Johny Hendricks heading into the bout.

According to new report from MMA Junkie.com, sources have informed the outlet that the UFC has approached Josh Koscheck about fighting Neil Magny on February 28th. The bout would be part of UFC 184 in Los Angeles.

The report says that at least one of the welterweights has verbally agreed to the bout.

The 36 year-old Koscheck is 2-3 in his last five fights. Magny, on the other hand, is riding a five fight winning streak.
