It looks as though UFC on FOX 13 has lost a pivotal, flyweight bout just a few weeks out from the December 13th event, as according to reports, Jussier “Formiga” will no longer fight John Moraga because of an injury.

“Formiga”, who is coming off wins over Zach Makovsky and Scott Jorgensen, has reportedly injured his knee and has been forced to withdraw. News of the Brazilian fighter’s injury was reported first by MMA Junkie.com, and MMA Fighting.com is reporting that “Formiga” has a partial LCL tear.

The UFC has yet to make an official announcement regarding the injury.

“Formiga” is currently ranked #4 in the UFC’s flyweight division, and Moraga is positioned at #5. The latter is coming off a second round, submission win over Justin Scoggins in September.

UFC on FOX 13 will be hosted by the US Airways Center in Phoenxix, Arizona.
