Marcin Held

It appears as though Bellator’s upcoming lightweight tourney finale won’t take place on March 7th as scheduled, due to a reported injury to Marcin Held. The renowned grappler was set to fight Dave Jansen at the Bellator 92 event, which will take place in Temecula, California.

According to a report from MMA Junkie, however, Held will not be ready to compete at Bellator 92 due to an undisclosed injury. As a result, the lightweight finale will take place at Bellator 93 on March 21st instead.

Held (15-2) is coming off a submission win over Rich Clementi to earn his finale appearance, while Jansen (18-2) earned a split decision win over Ricardo Tirloni.

Bellator 93 will take place in Lewiston, Maine.
