Report: Matt Brown’s Ex-Coach Allegedly Assaults Fighter Following UFC 198
By FCF Staff
Matt Brown reportedly had to deal with punches being thrown at him, even after his UFC 198 bout with Demian Maia concluded on Saturday.
According to reports, Brown was allegedly assaulted by his former jiu-jitsu coach Rodrigo Botti, while in a hotel lobby. UFC commentator Brian Stann reported the incident on Twitter, and then video surfaced of an ensuing fight involving Brown’s associate. According to a follow up report from MMA Fighting.com, Botti has pressed charges against Vinicius “Pequeno” Lemos. Brown, however, has reportedly not pressed charges against Botti.
Random fan runs into hotel, hits Matt Brown, and runs. Matt's friend catches him. Wow

Not a random fan. Guess it is a guy who has had a long time grudge w/ Matt, old coach or something, odd. Security has him now

Brown was submitted by Maia with a rear-naked-choke at UFC 198.
