Welterweight Matt Riddle and bantamweight Franciso Rivera have had their UFC 149 victories overturned by the Calgary Combative Sports Commission, for allegedly testing positive for banned substances following the June 21st card.

The UFC has confirmed that both Riddle and Rivera have had their victories overturned due to the test results. According to a report from MMA Junkie, Riddle tested positive for marijuana while Rivera was penalized for a banned, over the counter stimulant.

Both men were also suspended 90 days for the infraction. Neither Riddle or Rivera reportedly launched an appeal.

Riddle recorded a third round, arm-triangle-choke win over Chris Clements at UFC 149, which earned him “Submission of the Night” honors.

Rivera, on the other hand, knocked out Roland Delorme in the first round.

No details as to whether the fighters will lose their win bonus, or in the case of Riddle his performance bonus, were included.

UFC 149 was hosted by Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome and was the promotion’s first ever event in the Alberta city.
