Camoes (14-6) is currently riding a three fight win streak, which includes a first round, submission win over Tom Hayden at a UFC on FX card in January. The lightweight’s last loss came against Kurt Pellegrino in March, 2010, who tapped Camoes out with a second round, rear-naked-choke.

UFC 148 will be headlined by a bantamweight bout between champion Dominick Cruz and challenger Urijah Faber.

Some of the other fights confirmed for the card include Rich Franklin vs. Cung Le, Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz , Renan Barao vs. Ivan Menjivar and Michael Bisping vs. Tim Boetsch.
