Report: Michael Bisping Wants Rematch With Vitor Belfort, Says Former TRT User Looked Like “The Incredible Hulk” When They Fought

Following his narrow, split decision win over Thales Leites at UFC Fight Night 72, Michael Bisping is considering who he wants to fight next, and it sounds like Vitor Belfort is leading that list.

The two fought back in January, 2013, and Belfort won the bout via second round stoppage. The latter proceeded to take out Luke Rockhold and Dan Henderson in his next outings, and as a result, Belfort was tapped for a title shot. The latter’s fight with middleweight champ Chris Weidman was ultimately postponed several times due to injuries, and because Belfort tested for elevated testosterone in early 2014. Belfort was a testosterone-replacement-therapy user, and was forced to go off the treatments after TRT use was banned.

Following Bisping’s win over Leites, he was asked about who he’d like to face next, and the outspoken fighter named Henderson and Belfort. Here is some of what “The Count” had to say about the latter (quote via MMA Fighting.com):

“If you look at Vitor when I fought him, he looked like a cross between a power-lifting champion and the Incredible Hulk,” Bisping said. “When he stepped in against Chris Weidman, he looked like somebody’s out-of-shape, middle-aged man, a dad that went to the gym once a week. So it was certainly two different people. I would love to smash his face in and shut him up once and for all and get the revenge. I have no respect for that guy whatsoever. I think he’s a piece of sh*t is what I think.”

Belfort, meanwhile, hasn’t been booked for his next bout, after he was taken out by Weidman in the opening round this past May.
