After having four scheduled opponents drop out for this Saturday’s UFC on FOX 6 card, middleweight Michael Kuiper will reportedly no longer fight at the January 26th event in Chicago. The fighter’s most recent opponent, Josh Janousek, is the latest man who has been forced to withdraw from the bout due to an injury. Due to the short notice of the withdrawal Kuiper will no longer compete.

Kuiper (12-1) is coming off a second round, stoppage win over Jared Hamman in August, after losing by unanimous decision to Rafael Natal last February.

Janousek (8-1) would have been making his Octagon debut.

Additional opponents that were scheduled to fight Kuiper included Thiago Perpetuo, Buddy Roberts and Caio Magalhaes.

UFC on FOX 6 will be hosted by Chicago’s United Center and will feature flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson versus Jon Dodson in the main event.
