Report: Philip De Fries Says Bout With Matt Mitrione Set For UFC 155

According to British heavyweight Philip De Fries, his 2012 campaign will end with a fight against TUF veteran Matt Mitrione, on December 29th. The bout will be part of UFC 155 which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 26 year-old De Fries made the announcement via his Twitter account and Fighter Only Magazine has also confirmed the bout.
De Fries (9-1) is coming off a second round, rear-naked-choke victory over Oli Thompson in August, after being knocked out by Stipe Miocic at a UFC on FUEL card in February.
Mitrione hasn’t competed since last October, when he lost by unanimous decision to Cheick Kongo at UFC 137.
Prior to the defeat Mitrione had won all five of his pro bouts.
UFC 155 will feature a rematch between UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos and former champ Cain Velasquez.
