Report: “Rampage” Jackson Believes he May Have Competed in “Last Fight”

"Rampage" Jackson

“Rampage” Jackson is coming off a win in his UFC return, and has won four straight, but the 37 year-old, former champ believes his fighting career could be done.

Jackson returned to the Octagon this past April, and earned a unanimous decision win over Fabio Maldonado at UFC 186. The bout came in the midst of a contract dispute between Jackson and Bellator, who he fought for in 2013 and 2014.

Bellator’s legal attempts to stop Jackson from fighting at UFC 186 failed, but the court battle continues, and the PRIDE vet doesn’t have another fight booked. Jackson recently appeared on “The MMA Hour”, and while discussing his future, the outspoken fighter said this (quote via MMA Fighting.com):

“I really do think that I fought my last fight,” Jackson said. “Because, you guys weren’t in the mediation with me when Viacom said what they want for me to settle. I felt like it was lopsided and my attorney felt like it was lopsided. I don’t think I can tell you [what it was], but I could sue them for a lot of money. Because I lost a lot of money. And they want to settle, I was like wow…”

Jackson and his team believe that Bellator did not honor the terms of the contract he signed back in 2013. The Viacom owned promotion disagrees.

During his run with Bellator, Jackson defeated Joey Beltran, Christian M’Pumbu and “King Mo” Lawal.
