Just days removed from fending off muggers in New York City, Renzo Gracie has reportedly been added to the MMA World Series of Fighting broadcasting team, as a result of Kurt Angle’s recent withdrawal. The pro wrestler was originally scheduled to be a commentator at the promotion’s upcoming November 3rd debut; however, Angle withdrew due to a previous commitment with TNA wrestling.

The addition of Gracie to the WSOF broadcast team was reported by Bloody Elbow.com, which cited the promotion’s president Ray Sefo as the source. Gracie will call the November 3rd event alongside veteran announcer Michael Schiavello and renowned fighter Bas Rutten.

The November 3rd card will take place at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and will feature bouts with Miguel Torres, Bobby Lashley, Rolles Gracie and James McSweeney.

Bouts that have been confirmed for the card include “JZ” Cavalcante vs. John Gunderson, Josh Burkman vs. Gerald Harris, Brian Cobb vs. Ronys Torres and Gregor Gracie vs. Tyson Steele.
