It looks as though upcoming TUF coaches and rivals, UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey and contender Miesha Tate, will fight for the second time at the promotion’s year end event. The two are currently coaching the 18th Season of “The Ultimate Fighter”, which will get underway September 4th on FOX Sports 1.

According to a report from MMA Junkie, Rousey-Tate II is expected to go down December 28th, at UFC 168 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rousey (7-0) defeated Tate by first round, armbar in March, 2012, to become the Strikeforce champion. Since then, Rousey’s gone on to record wins over Sarah Kaufman and most recently Liz Carmouche.

Tate (13-4) rebounded from her loss to Rousey by tapping out Julie Kedzie last April, but she was stopped by Cat Zingano this past April in her UFC debut. The bout was to determine who would coach opposite Rousey on TUF 18; however, Zingano injured her knee after the bout and Tate was tapped as a replacement.

The UFC 168 card will be a pay-per-view event.
