Report: Roy Nelson Signs Multi-Fight Deal With Bellator

Roy Nelson is the latest UFC veteran to sign with Bellator, according to multiple reports.
The 40 year-old heavyweight concluded his UFC deal last month, following a decision loss to Alexander Volkov at UFC on FOX 24. MMA Fighting was the first to report that Bellator has signed Nelson to a multi-fight deal, and other outlets are also reporting the move.
Nelson joined the UFC in 2009 and won the 10th Season of “The Ultimate Fighter”. Since 2014 the feared slugger and BJJ black belt has gone 3-5.
“Big Country’s” last win took place in September, when he KO’d Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.
