It appears as though Gilbert Melendez-Josh Thomson III isn’t the only trilogy Zuffa is working on, as according to a report from Sportsnet, Zuffa has lined up a third bout between Sam Stout and Spencer Fisher for June 22nd.

If accurate, the fight will be part of the fourth UFC on FX card, which will be hosted by the Revel in Atlantic City. The bout was reportedly relayed to Sportsnet commentator Joe Ferraro.

Stout (17-7) and Fisher (24-8) met for the first time in March, 2006, which saw Stout emerged from the stand-up war with a split decision win.

When the two fought again in June, 2007, however, Fisher was awarded the unanimous decision victory.

More recently, the 27 year-old Stout lost by unanimous decision to Thiago Tavares at UFC 142 in January, after knocking out Yves Edwards at UFC 131 last June.

The 35 year-old Fisher is also coming off a stoppage loss to Tavares last August, after dropping a UD loss to Ross Pearson in February, 2011.

The upcoming UFC on FX 4 card will be headlined by a five round, lightweight bout between Clay Guida and Gray Maynad.

The card will be broadcast live on the FX channel.
