An all Brazilian, light-heavyweight bout between Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante and Thiago Silva will now reportedly take place on June 8th, rather than July 6th as originally thought.

The fight has been moved to the UFC on FUEL TV 10 card in Fortaleza, Brazil, according to a report from the Brazilian outlet Tatame.com. No reason for the change has been reported and the promotion has yet to make any official announcement.

Cavalcante (11-3 1NC) hasn’t competed since his victory over Mike Kyle last May was overturned, after the former Strikeforce champ tested positive for stanozolol. Prior to the bout with Kyle, “Feijao” knocked out Yoel Romero Palacio in September, 2011.

Silva (14-3 2 NC), is also coming off a suspension and victory that was overturned, as following his win over Stanislav Nedkov last November, he tested positive for marijuana metabolites. Before facing Nedkov, Silva lost by unanimous decision to Alexander Gustafsson in April, 2012.

UFC on FUEL TV 10 is expected to be headlined a heavyweight bout between Fabricio Werdum and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
